Whine, Complain, Whine Some More

I'm feeling pretty persnickety today.

So I am going to voice a complaint.

I'm tired of people complaining.

I'm probably just as guilty as everyone else, but no one has called me on it (recently), so I feel pretty confident in going forward with my rant.

I am especially tired of complainers who:

1. Constantly complain about the same thing.

2. Don't do anything to rectify the situation they are complaining about.

We all know the definition of insanity according to Einstein, right?

Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

You know who you are. (And you're not Liz, so if you are Liz, and you are reading this and getting pissed at me, I don't mean Liz. The rest of you? Yeah, I mean you.)

Here's my new (extremely simplified and insensitive) mantra:

Effing do something about it.

If you don't really want to do something about it, then at least stop whining about it.

(I had a whole bunch more planned for this tirade, but when I actually typed it out it seemed really mean. So I leave you with the mantra. Namaste.)

  1. I whine about my weight BUT 5 days out of 7 I do try to do something about it (it's the other two that are the problem)

  2. Well, at least you are doing something about it. And you are not supposed to work out 7 days a week. 4-5 is acceptable. Bible of Nanci says so. AND, if it is diet we are talking about, you are supposed to have 1 cheat day. So, you've managed half the battle. Whine away. :)

  3. You know Nanci, you have such a good way of justifying lol

I can't whine at the mo as I have LOTS of chocolate so it's more like 5 cheat days and 2 halo ones.
